Sulzer's end suction single-stage centrifugal pumps are used for demanding industrial applications to ensure process reliability, high efficiency and low operating costs. These pumps can be used for Hydrocarbon processing, Oil and gas, Power generation, Pulp and paper, General industry, Water and wastewater and Chemical processing.

Sulzer's AHLSTAR pumps have been designed to meet the most demanding hydraulic coverage requirements and for all types of liquid, making it the ideal range for challenging pumping operations. The pumps are also suited to the pumping of liquids with a high gas content of up to 40% of free gases or up to 70% of bound gases. 

Sulzer has used its years of R&D to design the perfect end suction pump. Features that stand out are Sulzer's EnerSave™ impellers that reduce life-cycle costs, especially energy consumption, operation time and downtime costs. Sulzer's Rotokey impeller mounting enables an easy and quick dismantling and assembly, which also helps to minimize maintenance costs. Sulzer's WaterLess™ shaft seal are single and double mechanical seals that are gland packed. These seals do not need measurements, which also saves time and money.
